Good Morning Prayer Partners,
I arrived home on Monday morning after a
wonderful trip in Houston.
I am always encouraged and strengthened in my faith when I am in
Houston. It is amazing! The Believers there are filled
with such joy and love of the Lord that it spills out to everyone they meet.
What a blessing!
I had the privilege of meeting our brothers
and sisters in Christ that have been praying for the reconciliation work the
Lord has me doing in Israel.
They are very special and I am honored to have them praying. Thank you BFL
Associates for hosting me on Friday morning!
The Ramallah convention was amazing! This
was the 49th convention of the original Ramallah families that live
in the States. There are more than 35000 living in
America
and about 2000 attended the convention. Ramallah began with 5 families so most
everyone at these conventions are related somehow. Men, women and children all
attended the daily activities…and believe me they had LOTS of activities. They
also talked about political issues in great depth. It appears this convention
has a great deal of political influence in their respective cities and in
Washington,
DC. Since most of them haven’t
returned to Ramallah in over 40 years, I wonder how they know what is really
going on in Ramallah. After talking with several of them, I found that they
know only the issues that are portrayed on the news and from Ramallah sources;
however, they know nothing of what is happening spiritually. Unfortunately,
there was very little discussion about God and what is happening to our brothers
and sisters in Christ in Ramallah. I can’t say that surprised me; however, it
did disturb me. But God, gave me the opportunity to share with many about the
work of the Kingdom
of God – salvation, feeing
the poor, discipleship of new Believers and the reconciliation work. They were
shocked to hear of this and were genuinely interested in hearing more. God has a
great plan ahead and I am prayerful that He will raise the Ramallah
Federation of America
to begin supporting our brothers and sisters in Christ that are accomplishing
the work of the Kingdom. Please pray with me for His divine appointments and
opportunities to share with the leadership of this federation. My
family is well respected and honored in Ramallah and this Federation. This is my
heritage and I believe the Lord has given me this for His kingdom purposes. I
don’t know exactly what that looks like but I am seeking Him – will you
join me in asking the Lord for His guidance and favor?
