Praise and Prayers

Father of Dale Humphreys - Please continue to pray for Dale's Dad who was admitted to Memorial yesterday with stroke-like symptoms.  Pray for God's healing, wisdom for the doctors, and peace for the family.

David Mays - Please continue to keep David in your prayers as he struggles with serious on-going health issues. Pray for God's healing, wisdom for the doctors and peace for David and his family. 

Pat Cordell - Please continue to pray for Pat as she is having a difficult time physically. Pray for physical comfort and God's peace.

Father of Powell Blue - Powell's father was diagnosed with stage-4 throat cancer.  His health appears to be improving with his recent tests indicating his cancer markers are down significantly.  Please pray for God's healing, wisdom for the doctors, God's mercy, grace and peace for his father and the family.

Marcie:  Sister of Miriam who has been diagnosed with cancer appears to be doing better with her cancer markers down significantly. Please pray for God's healing, peace and comfort for Marcie, and wisdom for the family.

Stephanie:  Stephanie is the niece of Jim and Jeri Veenstra.  She recently found out that her cancer has returned.  She is a strong young woman of faith but this latest news has come as quite a shock and disappointment.  Please pray for God's comfort and peace for Stephanie and her husband - pray for God's healing and favor in the life of this wonderful young woman.

Wildmen Ministry - Please pray for God's continued hand upon the "Wildmen" Ministry in Florida.  Please pray for Mark and the Leadership Team for wisdom and discernment as they wait for God's instructions regarding the growth of this powerful ministry.

Praise! - God is moving among the Men of Stonebriar - Friday mornings for great fellowship, accountability, and teaching, Saturday morning for intense prayer - calling us out to become the men of God that He intended.  Praise God, it is becoming our heart's desire as well.  Continue to pray for understanding, faith, strength, making God's heart our own.

Pastor Alfred Otoki - Please pray for Pastor Alfred and his family regarding the death of his daughter.  Please pray for God's continued peace.  Additionally, please pray for the spiritual, emotional and financial needs of his family.

Peggy Emerson - Peggy continues her recovery at home.  Please continue to pray for her emotional recovery and for her family.

YouthEffect 412 Ministry - Please pray for continued spiritual growth and unity in the lives of our students. Pray for wisdom and discernment for the adult leaders and coaches.

East Ridge Elementary School - Many know we've 'adopted' the elementary school near the church.  Please pray for the administration, teaching and support staff.  God has provided a great opportunity to minister in this wonderful school where the needs are many and the resources are limited.  Please pray for wisdom, God's continued favor, and the opportunity to make a difference for the Kingdom in the lives of the staff and students.

Homeless Ministry - Please pray for those who are homeless, hungry and in need.  This ministry is part of God's calling for Stonebriar and we are so grateful for the opportunity to serve.  Pray for God's protection for those in need - physical protection and emotional protection.  Pray for both the human and financial resources of Stonebriar so we might be better able to serve.  Please pray for wisdom, discernment and protection for the members of Stonebriar as we minister to those on the streets and in need.  We especially pray for a spiritual harvest and that God's love would be clearly shown and accepted in the lives of those on the street.

Stonebriar - Please pray for continued spiritual growth in the lives of His church, a contagious and positive testimony for Christ in our community, and a growing desire to become fully-devoted followers of Christ.
